Master in Business Administration (MBA)
The degree program shall consist of three academic semesters including a Master thesis.
The program shall begin with a 6-month period of study in Sri Lanka at NIST. The course content, level of instruction and examinations shall be compliant to FOM quality standards and are equivalent to the MBA study program which is already conducted at FOM.
The second and third semesters of study will take place at FOM in Germany. Students who have accumulated a minimum of 21 Credit Points by successfully passing examinations in semester 1 are assured of acceptance into the 2nd semester.
The language of instruction shall be English. Admission to the degree program requires a minimum proficiency level of B2. NIST shall ensure that each participant's level of English proficiency is at or above this level. Participants may be asked to hand in a certificate of proficiency.
If al modules of the first semester are successfully completed at NIST, the ex- amination results will be integrated by FOM.

Admission requirements

• University degree (Diplom, Magister, Bachelor, Staatsexamen) worth 210 Credit Points (appli- cants with a university degree worth 180 Credit Points may be admitted to a course after appropriate professional experience or other university achievements are recognized)
• At least one year’s professional experience after the first degree
• English language proficiency B2
